The early childhood club meets the second week of every month. Members do fun activities together or have guest speakers.
Principles:
• To further our education in the field of early childhood and our understanding of children.
• To provide opportunities for early childhood students to meet and support each other.
• To provide at least two community service projects per semester.
One of the main purposes of the club is for early childhood students be able to get to know each other and spend time together in a relaxed atmosphere doing activities we enjoy!
Activities and events:
During club meetings in the past we have had pizza parties, gone bowling, recognize graduating seniors, making valentine cards, or have guest speakers such as teachers, former students, or other early childhood related people.
Designing 140 valentine cards for both nursing homes in Crookston and Month of Young Child event- Blues Clues, where we promote physical health of young children.
We don't advertise to all students, usually early childhood degree majors are involved in this club.
