UMC’s Aviation Club is a group that is oriented around the world of aerospace. Anyone is welcome to join whether you have your private pilot’s license, are a student pilot, like the idea of flight, or just want to be involved in another club on campus. You don’t have to be an experienced aviator to join!

Club's principal activities, events and programs:

The main activity that the UMC Aviation Club gets involved with is the Fly-in Drive-in pancake breakfast that takes place out at the Crookston Municipal Airport (KCKN). We also participate in the homecoming banner contest (which always provides for some fun). Each year always holds some other exciting events for club members to get involved with. There are also some flying perks if you join!

Club's community service:

UMC Aviation Club takes part in the adopt a highway project which involves picking up trash on a two mile stretch of highway 75, adjacent to the Crookston airport. We also help out with meals on wheels and many other community services within the town of Crookston.

How to get involved in this club:

If you want to get involved you can contact our advisor, Les Dillard: You may also contact any of the current officers.
