Special Olympics Track Meet

Special Olympics Teams from across the region participate in this annual track meet. Several volunteers are needed to help run this tournament including timers, athlete escorts, and field event coordinators. Special Olympics Basketball Coaches (ongoing)
Special Olympics Grand Forks is looking for coaches for its upcoming basketball season. The program has two practice groups. One group will have practices on Mondays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at South Middle School in Grand Forks. The other group will have practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Valley Middle School in Grand Forks from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.. Both groups also have tournaments on Saturday, January 25; Saturday February 8; and Friday and Saturday, March 7 & 8. To find out more information, visit Josh Parrill in the AAC (Owen Hall 270).

Interested in working with youth? Here is a great opportunity: PATCH is an after-school homework help program for 7-12th grade students. Volunteers would assist students with homework in a variety of subjects from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Currently seeking a volunteer on Tuesdays starting in November and continuing until May; volunteers will have the opportunity to win gift cards if they sign up for 3 or more sessions.
