Centennial Hall

UMC Centennial Hall Building Photo Centennial Hall, aptly named for its construction during the campus centennial, was completed and ready for occupancy in fall 2006. The residence contains 21 apartments, each with two bedrooms that share a common kitchen and living room area. Apartments are air-conditioned and have full-sized refrigerators, microwaves, and dishwashers. They are fully furnished and have wired and wireless Internet access.

As part of the Centennial Hall building project, improvements were made to the adjoining Westside Apartment building. Westside was originally completed in the fall of 1997, and with the 2006 updates, it is now a part of Centennial Hall. Centennial Hall also serves as the home location for the Office of Residential Life and Security Services .

UMC Centennial Hall Building Aerial Photo The exterior of the building reflects the traditional maroon and gold of the University of Minnesota with its gold-colored brick and maroon hip roof.

The building was dedicated on October 12, 2006, during a visit from the University of Minnesota Board of Regents and then U of M President Robert Bruininks.
