Biography in Context - contains biographies from many Gale sources supplemented by full-text articles from hundreds of magazines and newspapers, as well as a large number of images and links to vetted websites.
BioOne - contains a full-text online aggregation of many high-impact, peer-reviewed bioscience research journals, covering the biological, ecological, and environmental sciences. The titles are published by scientific societies and other nonprofit organizations, and most have, until now, been available only in print.
Biosis Previews and Biological Abstracts - contains abstracts and indexes in every available field and covers articles from a large number serials each year. Both are a part of ISI's Web of Knowledge which also includes the Web of Science and you can search Biosis, Biological abstracts and Web of Science in Web of Knowledge under the All Databases tab.
Birds of North America (BNA) - contains a comprehensive reference of the life histories of North America’s breeding birds, and contents are updated frequently. The references tab contains an extensive bibliography. In addition, BNA Online contains image and video galleries showing plumages, behaviors, habitat, nests and eggs, and more. Most online BNA accounts now feature recordings of the songs and calls of their species.
Brill eBooks and Journals Online - contains scholarly sources with the full text of a large number of book chapters and journal articles, covering the Humanities, International Law and Biology.
Business Insights - contains all of the content formerly found in Business & Company Resource Center with a new interface designed around the research goals and workflows of your diverse business research community. Business File ASAP - contains analysis of company performance and activity, industry events and trends as well as the latest in management, economics and politics. Children's Core Collection (H.W. Wilson) - contains fiction and nonfiction works, story collections, picture books and magazines recommended for readers in preschool through sixth grade. Professional literature for the children's librarian—both periodicals and books—is also covered. Selected and recommended by collection development specialists, books within Children’s Core Collection encompass a wide variety of topics, including social sciences, science, math and reading.
- American Poetry Database - contains the works of many American poets, along with six landmark anthologies of American poetry. The database gathers the works of the most influential American poets, from the Colonial period to the early twentieth century.

Discovering Collection - contains in-depth content for five core curriculum areas: literature, history, biography, science, and social studies. This database is aimed at grades 6-12 and contains all the content in Junior Reference Collection plus the DISCovering products to offer many overview essays, literary criticisms, timelines, primary source documents, audio and video clips, and a large number maps, images, and flags.
Dissertation Abstracts - contains a very large number of entries for information about doctoral dissertations and master's theses. Dissertations published from 1980 forward include 350- word abstracts written by the author. Master's theses published from 1988 forward include 150-word abstracts. Dissertation Abstracts@CIC Institutions (with text) - This is a subset of the Dissertation Abstracts database above which contains links to the complete text of recent theses from the University of Minnesota and other large research universities that belong to the CIC cooperative (University of Michigan, Ohio State University, Indiana University, University of Chicago, University of Wisconsin, University of Iowa, Pennsylvania State University, Michigan State University and others).

Early English Books Online (EEBO) - contains over a large number of titles listed in Pollard and Redgrave's Short-Title Catalogue (1475-1640), Wing's Short-Title Catalogue (1641-1700), the Thomason Tracts (1640-1661), and the Early English Tract Supplement - all in full digital facsimile from the Early English Books microfilm collection.
eBook Collection (EBSCOhost) - contains a large number of titles from leading publishers (many Netlibrary owned titles). eBook Academic Subscription Collection™ supplies full-text eBooks covering a broad spectrum of academic subjects from business to science and engineering to the humanities. Many titles are included in eBook Academic Subscription Collection.
ebrary Academic Complete - contains an e-book collection of a large number titles from a wide variety of publishers including many University Press titles, and titles from Wiley, Kaplan, Kluwer, Random House, Springer and Taylor & Francis. It has an easy-to-use interface with simple searching and tools including personal bookshelves, automatic citations, highlighting and annotating. Unlimited simultaneous users so there are no turn a ways.
Ebsco MegaFile - contains full text, indexes, and abstracts spanning every area of academic study and general interest subject area dating as far back as the 1800s. This database includes many biographies, primary sources documents, company profiles, photos, maps, and flags.
Ebsco Education Research Complete - contains indexing and abstracts for a large number journals, as well as full text for many journals. Topics covered include all levels of education from early childhood to higher education, and all educational specialties. This database also includes full text for many books, monographs, and education-related conference papers.
Educator's Reference Complete - contains a selection of many full-text academic journals, full-text reports, and many premier reference sources. Included content focuses on educational principles, child development and psychology, and best practices in education. Majority of the full-text titles included are also found in the ERIC database.
Encyclopedia Americana, Grolier's Multimedia Encyclopedia, La Nueva Enciclopedia Cumbre (Spanish language), and Grolier Online Kids are part of Grolier Online. These resources from Grolier are easy to use colorful online versions of well known print encyclopedias. La Nueva Enciclopedia Cumbre is a Spanish-language encyclopedia which provides extensive coverage of curriculum-aligned topics.
Encyclopedia Britannica - contains high-quality, comprehensive information with articles written by Nobel laureates, historians, curators, professors, and other experts, The Encyclopædia Britannica articles are trusted resources with balanced, global perspectives and unique insights. Britannica Online School Edition Homepage includes links to High School Edition, Middle School, Elementary School, and Preschool versions.
ERIC - contains a large number of records and links to many full-text documents. This database provides access to education literature and resources
Expanded Academic ASAP - contains scholarly journals, news magazines, and newspapers with topics from arts and the humanities to social sciences, science and technology, this database meets research needs across all academic disciplines. Many have full text and images.
First Monday - Is one of the first free, openly accessible, peer–reviewed journals on the Internet, solely devoted to the Internet.

Foundation Directory Online - contains the details on U.S. funders and their grants. Includes many U.S. foundations and corporate donors, a large number of recent grants, and many key decision makers. (Password access - login for passwords).

GreenFILE™ - contains information covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. Its collection of scholarly, government and general-interest titles includes content on global warming, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more. This database provides indexing and abstracts for a large number of records, as well as Open Access full text for many records. Ebsco had made this database available without charge.

Health Source: Consumer Edition - contains a collection of consumer health information produced by Ebsco. Minnesota Grants Online Database - contains a large number of grants of $2,000 or more awarded by Minnesota's largest grant makers from the Minnesota Council on Foundations database of many Minnesota foundations and corporate grant makers. (Password access - login for passwords).
MLA International Bibliography - contains indexes for material that relates to all forms of human communication including literary criticism and theory, dramatic arts, and the history of printing and publishing. Linguistics and language materials range from the history of linguistics to semantics and syntax to translation.

New York Times Historical Database - contains full page and article images with searchable full text back to the first issue. The collection includes digital reproductions providing access to every page from every available issue from 1851 to 2001.
New York Times - contains comprehensive digital coverage back to 1980. The articles are in the test format. The New York Times Book Review and Sunday Magazine are provided in PDF format.
Newspaper Search - contains full-text articles from 5 major newspapers: the Minneapolis Star Tribune, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times (90-day rolling file only of full text), The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post. It also includes articles from a number of other regional newspapers.

Sports Discus - contains comprehensive, bibliographic coverage of sport, fitness and related disciplines. Provided by the Sport Information Resource Centre, this database contains a large number of records with journal and monograph coverage going back to 1800.
SpringerLink - contains millions of scientific documents from journals, books, series, protocols and reference works from some of the world's leading scientific, technical, and medical journals. A simple search interface is available with a link to an advanced search. A browse list of titles is available on the SpringerLink site.
