BioOne - A full-text online aggregation of some 200 high-impact, peer-reviewed bioscience research journals, covering the biological, ecological, and environmental sciences. The titles are published by scientific societies and other nonprofit organizations, and most have, until now, been available only in print.
Biosis Previews- and Biological Abstracts - Monitors every area of the life sciences, abstracting and indexing in every available field and covers articles from over 3,700 serials each year. This interdisciplinary and in-depth approach to life sciences connects researchers with critical journal coverage on topics from agriculture and botany to microbiology to pharmacology. Dissertation Abstracts - consists of more than two million entries for information about doctoral dissertations and master's theses. Ebsco MegaFile - EBSCO MegaFILE is a multi-disciplinary database providing full text for nearly 12,000 total publications and indexing & abstracting for more than 16,000 publications. Coverage spans every area of academic study and general interest subject area and offers information dating as far back as the 1800s. In addition, the database contains more than 84,000 biographies, 86,000 primary source documents, 10,000 company profiles and an image collection of more than 107,000 photos, maps and flags. Included content focuses on educational principles, child development and psychology, and best practices in education. Majority of the full-text titles included are also found in the ERIC database.

Encyclopedia Americana, Grolier's Multimedia Encyclopedia, La Nueva Enciclopedia Cumbre (Spanish language), and Grolier Online Kids are part of Grolier Online. These resources from Grolier are easy to use colorful online versions of well known print encyclopedias. La Nueva Enciclopedia Cumbre is a Spanish-language encyclopedia which provides extensive coverage of curriculum-aligned topics.
Encyclopedia Britannica - provides easy access to high-quality, comprehensive information with articles written by Nobel laureates, historians, curators, professors, and other experts, The Encyclopædia Britannica articles are trusted resources with balanced, global perspectives and unique insights. Britannica Online School Edition Homepage includes links to High School Edition, Middle School, Elementary School, and Preschool versions.
Electronic Collections Online A&I - An OCLC collection of scholarly journals with indexing and abstracts, FindIt enabled. 

ERIC - Ebsco's version of ERIC provides access using the Ebsco interface to the ERIC database. ERIC contains over 800,000 references to thousands of educational topics. The sources it indexes include journal articles, books, theses, curriculi, conference papers, and standards and guidelines. Ebsco provides access to the ERIC database using its own interface. It is FindIt enabled. The library has access to Proquest's version of ERIC , OCLC's version of ERIC and the public US government version of ERIC - Education Resource Information Center The content is essentially the same the interface varies.


Ethnic NewsWatch (ENW) - An interdisciplinary, bilingual (English and Spanish) and comprehensive full text database of newspapers, magazines and journals from ethnic, minority and native presses. This current database begins its coverage in 1990.

Google Scholar (Beta) - A Google search engine which indexes peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts, and other scholarly literature from a variety of academic publishers and professional societies, as well as scholarly articles available across the web. UMC Library has enabled linking to the full text of articles located in Google Scholar using FindIt the UMC Library Linking service. 
GPO Monthly Catalog - Index to U.S. government publications. 
GreenFILE™ offers information covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. Its collection of scholarly, government and general-interest titles includes content on global warming, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more. The database provides indexing and abstracts for more than 384,000 records, as well as Open Access full text for more than 4,700 records. Ebsco had made this database available without charge.

Health Source: Consumer Edition is a collection of consumer health information produced by Ebsco. Historical Statistics of the United States - The online version of the Millennial Edition of Historical Statistics of the United States is the single most comprehensive compendium of historical U.S. statistics available. It covers the social, economic, political and geographic data collected by the Census Bureau and other agencies of the United States govenment. Each chapter provides extensive documentation for the sources of the statistics. Data can downloaded in Excel or CSV. Custom tables can be created which can also be downloaded, printed, or graphed.

MEDLINE - Index to journal articles in all areas of medicine, including dentistry and nursing.

MLA International Bibliography - MLA indexes material that relates to all forms of human communication. Topics include literary criticism and theory, dramatic arts (film, radio, television, theater), and history of printing and publishing. Linguistics and language materials range from history and theory of linguistics, comparative linguistics, semantics, stylistics, and syntax to translation. The items indexed date back to the 1920s. Points of View Reference Center - is an Ebsco full-text database designed to provide students with a series of essays that present multiple sides of a current issue. The database provides 255 topics, each with an overview (objective background/description), point (argument),counterpoint (opposing argument), and Critical Thinking Guide.

Scirus - a comprehensive science-specific search engine which searches over 167 million science-specific Web pages. Scirus also indexes thousands of journals from hundreds of publishers. In order to provide access to the text of the journal articles UMC Library has partnered with Scirus to enable the FindIt service in Scirus.
