HighWire - contains the largest repository of free full-text life science (including the health sciences) articles in the world.  (Partial Full Text)

OECD iLibrary - contains books, papers, and statistics from the online library of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and is the gateway to OECD's analysis and data.

PLANTS National Database - contains names, plant symbols, checklists, distributional data, species abstracts, characteristics, images, plant links, references, crop information, and automated tools for vascular plants, mosses, liverworts, hornworts, and lichens of the U.S. and its territories.

Plant Management Network - contains indexes for many web-based resources, including Plant Health Progress, Forage and Grazing Lands, and Crop Management. This database provides quick and easy access to fact sheets, newsletters, product listings, training resources, and related information.

PubMed - contains a large number of citations in Medline and other related databases with links to participating journals. UMC Library has enabled linking to the full text of articles from citations found by searching PubMed.  The links use FindIt, the UMC Library Linking service.

Research reports Minnesota DNR - contains many research projects that provide natural resource managers and the public with information useful in conserving the state's nongame wildlife and rare plant and animal resources

ScienceDirect - contains full text, citations and abstracts from many journals. The Elsevier Science Journal collection covers a wide spectrum of topics including chemistry; materials, physical, earth, and environmental sciences; economics, neurosciences, pharmacology and toxicology, physics, mathematics, and computer science, etc.

Social Sciences in Forestry - contains indexes for publications in many subject areas relating to the social sciences to forestry. Among them are: legislation, policy and planning, management, economic development, investment and finance. (Partial Full Text)

S-pac (Searchable Proceedings of Animal Conferences) - contains proceedings from major animal production conferences held in the U.S. and Canada. Access requires a username and password which are available to UMC faculty, staff, and students on the linked page. 

SpringerLink - contains millions of scientific documents from journals, books, series, protocols and reference works from some of the world's leading scientific, technical, and medical journals. A simple search interface is available with a link to an advanced search.

Turfgrass Information Center - contains all types of works related to turf grass culture including journals, monographs, fact sheets and pamphlets, images, and web documents. Most records in TGIF contain informative abstracts; some contain full text or are linked to web-accessible full text.

Dissertation Abstracts - contains a very large number of entries for information about doctoral dissertations and master's theses.
