Learning Abroad - Getting Started Button At the University of Minnesota, Crookston, it is our privilege to provide a learning abroad experience which may be discipline specific learning, placement of a discipline in its international context, language placement of a discipline in its international context, language acquisition, country specific learning or intercultural learning through study, work, internship, volunteer and service learning.

Studying abroad is not only a way to see the world, but employers will see your experience as an important personal and intercultural skill set that is beneficial in any career.

Career Integration Conference
The Career Integration of Learning Abroad initiative will culminate in a conference hosted by the Learning Abroad Center and GPS Alliance July 21–22, 2014, in Minneapolis, MN. International educators, student services professionals, career service and employer relations professionals, recruiters, and industry leaders will share best-practices and innovations within the fields of education abroad and career services.
