UMC has rolling admission. However, we strongly encourage students to follow the suggested deadlines so that we may best accommodate you.
Application deadline for Fall Admission: August 17th, 2012*
*Application materials postmarked on or prior to deadline will be accepted.

*Merit Scholarships, Specialty Scholarships, Federal Financial Aid funding, and Housing may not be available for spring admits. We will work to accommodate your needs to the best of our ability.
Apply for admission. Merit scholarship funding is awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis determined by the Application for Admission. Students may apply after February 1, however scholarship availability will depend on funds available for students who apply for admission after February 1
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). While the federal government does not announce an official deadline, some federal financial aid programs, including grants, have limited funding and are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. Also, completing the FAFSA early will assure students receive a financial aid award packet estimate prior to May 1.
Apply for Specialty Scholarships before February 15. Students must be admitted before they are eligible to apply.
Financial aid award packets are sent to students. Students must approve award packages; instructions will be included with award packets.
Apply for Housing. Admitted students will be mailed housing contracts in late March. Students are encouraged to complete housing contracts as soon as possible to assure space is available.
A registration packet will be sent to admitted students beginning in March. At that time, students will choose a registration date and be guided through the process to register for fall classes.
Attend orientation and move into the residence halls!
