

The Computer Help Desk is the primary end user technology support department at the University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC) campus. The Help Desk should always be the first point of contact for all UMC customers where the Help Desk staff will properly assign all incidents to appropriate technical support staff. Help Desk staff strive to ensure customer satisfaction by providing prompt, courteous, and effective service and support.
STUDENTS-- If you are taking summer courses or you are enrolled for 6 or more on-campus credits fall semester and would like to keep your UMC computer for the summer please copy the link at the end of this section into a web browser. There is no cost to keep your computer for the summer as long as you are registered for 6 or more on-campus credits in the fall. If you are not registered for fall semester on-campus or summer session your computer is due back by May, 10th by 4pm. After that date and time you will be charged a $50 late fee and $31.25 per week until it is returned. If at any time you drop your enrollment here at UMC you have a 7 day grace period to return your computer to the UMC Computer Help Desk. After 7 days the late fees will be assessed.
