The Computer Help Desk is the primary end user technology support department at the University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC) campus. The Help Desk should always be the first point of contact for all UMC customers where the Help Desk staff will properly assign all incidents to appropriate technical support staff. To address printing issues we are moving over to a different server. The server name is \\umc-print64. This can be accessed by clicking on the "Start" button and typing in "\\umc-print64" and pressing "Enter" to pull up a list of printers. Locate the printers you would like to use and double click on them to add them. Adding a printer may take a few minutes to do.
Feel free to remove any printers that are not working from "Devices and Printers" in Windows. To find "Devices and Printers" click the "Start" button and type "Devices and Printers" and select that option. Right click on the printer name and select "Remove Device".
