Students with documented disabilities who need course accommodations related to their disability should contact Laurie Wilson at lwilson2@umn.edu, Coordinator, UMC Office for Students with Disabilities. Prior to receiving accommodations, students must first provide documentation from appropriate specialists to OSD, and should then contact OSD as early as possible to discuss and arrange for accommodations.
Distance learners are encouraged to notify OSD via email prior to or at the beginning of each term of their enrollment just as on-site students do.
If a distance learner encounters inaccessible on-line course content, the student is asked to first notify his/her faculty member, then Steve Hannah in the Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology at shannah@umn.edu, and finally Laurie Wilson.
