Students with documented disabilities who need course accommodations related to their disability should contact UMC's Disability Resource Center (DRC). Prior to receiving accommodations, students must first provide documentation from appropriate specialists to DRC, and should then contact DRC as early as possible to discuss and arrange for accommodations.
Distance learners are encouraged to notify DRC via email prior to or at the beginning of each term of their enrollment just as on-site students do.
If a distance learner encounters inaccessible on-line course content, the student is asked to first notify his/her faculty member, then Steve Hannah in the Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology at email@example.com and UMC's Counseling and Disability Services 218.281.8558 or 800.862.6466 ext 8558.
