The U.S. Department's Bureau of Labor Statistics projects technology-related careers to have the highest percentage of job growth through the first decade of the 21st century. One third of the fastest growing jobs will be in information technology related fields. Job opportunities for computer software application developers and network systems administrators are expected to grow the fastest.
