Agricultural Aviation Emphasis

This emphasis leads to careers in aerial application*, aerial firefighting, aerial photography, charter pilot, or pilot representative for an agricultural business.

Program Outcomes

• Demonstrate competency in aeronautics with an emphasis in low-level flight operations and safety
• Demonstrate competency in tailwheel aircraft
• Demonstrate competency in applied agronomy
• Demonstrate the use of current technology in aviation, agriculture, and applied business
• Demonstrate critical thinking to analyze situations in aeronautics and applied agriculture

 * Students that complete the Agricultural Aviation emphasis will be prepared for licensure as a chemical applicator in the state of Minnesota.
