What do you find most engaging about the ASM major?
The thing I find most engaging about the ASM major is the broad opportunities available after graduation. I feel I will be prepared for nearly any job in agriculture, and also with the ability to work in a job I enjoy.

How did you decide to attend the U of M, Crookston?
My choice leading up to picking UMC was the campus and class size. Both of those factors fit me well, and I now find it hard to imagine myself anywhere else.

What do you like most about the campus?
The entire experience is the best. From campus size, students, to faculty and staff, the experience at UMC is second to none.

Describe your interaction with the faculty and staff on campus?
My interaction with faculty and staff is outstanding. Faculty and Staff are very approachable and easy to talk to. It really adds to an already great experience.

What has being involved in the Straight Vegetable Oil (SVO) research meant to you or your career?
Being involved in SVO research has shown to me that hard work will pay off. Certain times I have felt overwhelmed with work, but I know there will be benefits working on research that only a select few others are attempting.

Why would you recommend that others attend the U of M Crookston?
I’d recommend UMC to anyone looking for a University of Minnesota Degree, along with the opportunities to get involved, have a hand at leadership, doing research, or building a great network of friendships.
